Do you make lists for fun? Are you always ‘the organized one’? Hot Mama is looking for Inventory Specialist's at select locations (see above Immediate Positions Available) to keep our store running smoothly. Inventory Specialists, AKA Inventory Watchdogs, are fantastic problem solvers, positive communicators and have strong computer skills. They work well alone but also love to join others in the sandbox. This is a part time position that creates full time happiness with our moms. Store intern job description:
Learn to work as a stylist on the sales floor connecting with customers and outfitting based on the customer’s body type and lifestyle. Store interns are required to attend new stylist training and other certification classes throughout the internship. They will also learn about merchandising, making a store schedule, setting goals, back-stocking and the role of Inventory Specialist.
Photo-Shoot Prep Stylist intern job description:
Photo-Shoot Prep Stylist internship involves gaining exposure to our in-studio and possible lifestyle photoshoot sessions. Duties include: Preparing and putting away product for models, steaming product, recording product style code information, creating product descriptions and assisting in the photoshoot process. This internship involves traveling to the Edina Hot Mama weekly on Mondays as well as to any lifestyle location within the Twin Cities, as needed. Strengths include: Passion for fashion. Creative eye for completing looks with layering pieces and accessories. Ability to work with different patterns and textures. Detail oriented, fast paced, ability to work in a team environment.
Home office intern job description:
Internships in the home office will learn about inventory management, vendor relationships, the buying office and Shopmama.com.
Corporate Office Intern Responsibilities/Expectations
- Vendor Trade outs –fax instructions to stores, total RA, file paper work
- Enter orders into our Open to Buy spreadsheet
- Assist in the RA process – faxing, completing paperwork, negotiating/building vendor relationships
- Package and ship out samples
- Shopmama tasks
- General office assistance – mailing, filing PO/invoices, organizing, sorting, manuals
